Adopting a pet is easy. If you'd like to search our available animals, click on the Pet Finder button below. Or, contact us directly at the shelter to see if we have what you are looking for. New pets come in on a daily basis. Beagles or hounds? We have lots of those! We have many wonderful adult cats to chose from, and kittens are plentiful during kitten season. Please consider adopting an older animal, that may already be housebroken, spayed or neutered, and be quieter around the house. If you find a specific animal you are interested in, please click here to fill out an application. You can bring it by the shelter or fax it to us at 434-946-2173.
Our prices for adopting an animal: (as of June 1 2010)

Puppies, small dogs and purebreds - $150

These fees cover the cost of spaying or neutering the animal, a health check, rabies shot and fecal exam. Most animals will also have had their first set of shots before being adopted.
